What You Will Do:

University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking new members to join our Interventional Radiology Team!

UMMC is looking for an experienced ICU Nurse to work in with our Interventional Radiology team while we provide emergency care to stroke and vascular patients in the city of Baltimore. The right person will have several years of critical care experience, including familiarity with conscious sedation, full anesthesia, and code procedures, as well as have a personal interest in pursuing a career in procedural nursing.


As a STEMI designated stroke center, our nurses are involved in saving individuals undergoing an active stroke by treating. Additionally, our IR department treats vascular patients at the hospital. This is an opportunity to work with patients in multiple modalities and mastering a new line of nursing after gaining experience from an inpatient bedside position.

What You Need to Be Successful:

this position requires 3 or more years of critical care/ICU experience. Knowledge and experience with stroke patients is a preferred.


BLS & ACLS is required.
