eCare is a centralized, state-of-the-art ICU focused on transforming the way patients are cared for in ICUs across the state. UMMC nurses partner with ICU bedside care providers, to consult and apply their extensive knowledge of critical care medicine to a patients needs across 10 hospitals throughout the state of Maryland. Centrally located at UMMC in downtown Baltimore, UMMC houses more ICU beds than any other facility in the state.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Qualifications include:
-Minimum of 2 years current Adult ICU experience
-BSN required
-BLS and ACLS required
-CCRN preferred (and required within 2 years of employment)
eCare features a shared staffing model, with nurses rotating between eCare and University of Maryland Medical Center’s ICU’s, spending a minimum of 25% at the bedside to maintain critical care skills and 75% in eCare.
Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or eligibility for licensure in the state.
